Troubleshooting Guide

This page collects the most common MinerTrack issues and the recommended ways to address them.

Detections are too rare

If suspicious behavior is not being flagged often enough:

• review the rare-ore configuration
• confirm the threshold values are not too strict
• check whether the player is mining in natural cave areas that may reduce sensitivity

Detections are too aggressive

If normal players are being flagged:

• reduce sensitivity gradually
• review natural-detection settings
• inspect cave and terrain-related options
• check whether the server's mining style is unusual

Discord webhooks are not firing

Verify that:

• the webhook URL is correct
• the webhook feature is enabled
• the player has reached the configured VL threshold
• the server can reach Discord

Bypass permission issues

If you want everyone to be checked, even staff or operators:

disable_bypass_permission: true

Plugin does not load correctly

Make sure:

• the server is using a supported platform
• the jar version matches the server version
• Java 17 or newer is installed
• there are no conflicting plugins affecting event handling
